Terms of use

Plain-language terms: the tools are free, the information is verified where it can be, and platforms make their own rules.

Using the site

Invisible Letters is free to use, for personal and commercial purposes alike, with no account and no limits. The characters you copy are standard Unicode codepoints — they belong to no one, including us. Do not use the site or its characters to break laws or the rules of the platform you paste them into; how you use them is your responsibility.

No warranty on platform behaviour

We verify each character's Unicode properties automatically on every publish, and we describe app and platform behaviour by mechanism, honestly hedged. Platforms change their validation rules whenever they wish, so we cannot promise that any particular character will work in any particular app on any particular day. The site and its tools are provided «as is», without warranties of any kind, and to the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for losses arising from their use — including a rejected nickname or a spent rename token.

Trademarks and independence

Instagram, TikTok, Discord, WhatsApp, Fortnite and other names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. Invisible Letters is independent and affiliated with none of them; mentions exist purely to describe where characters do and do not work.
