What we do not collect
Invisible Letters has no user accounts, and every tool on this site — copying, generating, inspecting — runs entirely inside your browser. The text you type, paste or copy is never transmitted to our server or to anyone else. We do not sell data, and we have no data worth selling.
Analytics, only with consent
We use Google Analytics to learn which tools people find useful. It sets cookies only according to your choice in the cookie notice: decline, and it stays off; in the EU, the UK and Switzerland it is off by default until you accept. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time through the «Cookies» link in the footer. Analytics data reaches us only in aggregate — pages, tools used, countries — never as text you typed.
The contact form and email
If you write to us — through the contact form or at contact@invisibleletters.com — we receive what you send: your message, your name if you give one, and your address, which we use solely to reply. Form submissions are stored on our server so we can process them, and are not shared with third parties.
Advertising
The site currently shows no ads. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, and any advertising cookies will follow the same consent rules as analytics.
Who is responsible
Invisible Letters is an independent project run by a private individual. For anything concerning your data, contact contact@invisibleletters.com or use the contact form; every request gets an answer.
Legal basis and retention
Analytics relies on your consent wherever the law requires it. Server logs and replies to your messages rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and answering people who write to us. Logs are deleted through routine rotation; contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle them, and sooner if you ask.
Where data is processed
Google Analytics is a Google service: analytics data may be processed on servers outside your country, including the United States, under the safeguards Google applies to such transfers. We send data to no other third party.
What is stored in your browser
The site keeps three things in your own browser: the light or dark theme you chose, your cookie choice, and a copy of the pages so the tools keep working offline. None of it leaves your device or identifies you, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can request a copy or the deletion of any personal data we hold about you (in practice: contact messages) by writing to contact@invisibleletters.com. If you live in the European Union and believe we handle your data incorrectly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country. This policy was last updated on October 7, 2026; material changes will be reflected on this page.
